Address Will Now Be Embedded In Digital Form
The resident address on the last page of the passport will be replaced by a digital barcode that immigration officers can scan to obtain the information. The resident address will be stored in a digital code that immigration officers can retrieve by scanning it with a special machine. Parents’ Name Requirement Eliminated
Applicants’ parents’ names are no longer included in the new passports. This will make the process easier for individuals who don’t have both their parents’ names listed in their passports.
